How to Cook Pork Belly

On a cutting board, using a sharp knife, cut the pork belly slices into 0.2-0.3-inch-thick strips. Pat the pork dry with a paper towel and then add salt and rub with dry spices. Allow the pork belly pieces to stand for 5 to 7 minutes.

Coat all of the pork belly pieces generously with the mixture. Then, roll the first strip into a snail shape and secure it with a toothpick. Wrap the next strip around the core, twisting the strip around its axis at the same time. Secure with toothpicks again.

Once you have wrapped all of the pieces of pork belly place the meat flower in an air fryer basket. If you don’t already have an air fryer, you can get one online here.

Crispy Air Fryer Pork Belly Cooking Time

Cook at 320°F/160°C for 30 minutes. Increase the temperature to 390°F/195°C and continue air frying for 10 minutes. You may need more or less time.
