Preparing a Homemade Spinach Pizza
All great pizza recipes start with the best dough. We are using our homemade pizza dough recipe. This recipe makes the best thin crust. You can use ours, or if you do not want to make your own homemade dough you can opt for store-bought pizza dough.
First, stretch the dough out before placing it on a pizza peel.
Use the back of your hands to stretch the dough out a bit more. Then place it on a lightly floured pizza peel.
Since this is a white pizza we aren’t using tomato sauce. Instead, we will put 1/3 cup of cubed mozzarella cheese on the dough along with a few dollops of creamy ricotta. Here is our homemade ricotta recipe, made with only three ingredients. Or you can use store-bought ricotta. You can use the block of mozzarella from the grocery store or fresh mozzarella.
Drizzle the top of the dough with a tablespoon of olive oil (or two tablespoons).
Then add the spinach to the white spinach pizza, Fresh baby spinach is our favorite. Use as little or as much spinach as you’d like.
White Pizza with Spinach on Homemade Pizza Crust
Place the pizza into the preheated oven and cook until the crust is golden brown.
This white pizza with spinach has the perfect crispy crust and the mozzarella and ricotta mixture makes the perfect gooey cheese on top of the pizza.
If you are a garlic lover then you will want to skip the garlic powder and use our creamy cashew garlic white sauce. It’s made with fresh garlic cloves and gives this white pizza a delicious garlicky spinach flavor. We also use it on our dill pickle pizza recipe.
When making a Florentine pizza or any type of pizza the main thing is to keep it simple. There is no reason to complicate these easy recipes. Make sure to check out our other easy pizza recipes here:

Hi, thanks for the recipe! I love pizza and cook it very often. I can’t describe how much I love Italian cuisine and how happy it makes me. There is not a week when I don’t cook something from Italian cuisine for my family. I adore it you cant even imagine how. But I’ve never tried combining two cheeses like these in one pizza before. I think it came out very tasty with you, because in combination with spinach, the products always give a very delicious taste. Thank you again! I want to see more recipes on your blog, keep going.
